Reminder: Hospital star rating system comment deadline Sept. 14
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services is accepting comments through Sept. 14 on its proposed star rating system for overall hospital-level quality. CMS recently added star ratings for patient experience survey measures to Hospital Compare, and plans to add overall star ratings to the website next year. For more information on the proposed methodology and instructions on how to submit comments, visit CMS’s quality measures public comment page.
