LHA establishes fund for employees affected by Hurricane Laura
The Louisiana Hospital Association Research and Education Foundation has established a fund to help hospital employees who experienced significant property loss or personal hardship as a result of Hurricane Laura.
The deadly storm made landfall in late August as a category 4 hurricane and affected thousands of the state’s residents. All administrative services are being provided in-kind so that 100% of donations will assist hospital employees, and contributions are tax deductible. The AHA today made a donation to the fund.
