House passes continuing resolution funding government through Dec. 11
The House last night voted 359-57 to pass a continuing resolution that would generally extend current federal funding levels for health care and other programs through Dec. 11.
Among other provisions, the bill would make changes to the interest rate and terms for Medicare accelerated and advance payment programs, extend through Dec. 11 a number of policies and programs set to expire on Nov. 30, and delay the start of $4 billion in fiscal year 2021 Medicaid disproportionate share hospital cuts.
The Senate is expected to pass the measure before government funding for FY 2020 expires Sept. 30.
