CMS webinar Dec. 8 on hospital price transparency rule
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will host a Dec. 8 webinar on its final rule requiring hospitals to disclose payer-specific negotiated rates effective Jan. 1. The rule, which AHA is challenging in court, also requires hospitals to post similar information for 300 “shoppable” services in a consumer-friendly way. Register for the 2 p.m. ET webinar here, and view the latest CMS resources on the rule.
