President Biden today urged Congress to allow Medicare to negotiate prescription drug prices and cap the amount beneficiaries pay out-of-pocket for drugs each year. He said the federal government also will work to import lower-cost prescription drugs from Canada, and accelerate the development and uptake of generic and biosimilar drugs.
