Hospitals can apply for Regional Disaster Response System demonstration grant
Hospitals and other eligible entities can apply through Sept. 20 for $3 million in fiscal year 2021 funding from the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response to establish a Regional Disaster Health Response System demonstration site.
The recipient will focus on building partnerships to effectively prepare for and respond to patient management in disasters, including clinical specialty and medical surge capabilities, building on lessons learned from three demonstration sites established in 2018 and 2020.
