President adds measles to list of quarantinable diseases
President Biden Friday added measles to the list of quarantinable diseases, as recommended by Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra and Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, M.D. Created in 2003 by executive order, the list was last revised in 2014 to add severe acute respiratory syndromes.
