Hospitals can apply for additional Medicare-funded residency positions
As part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, 1,000 new Medicare-funded residency positions will be distributed starting in fiscal year 2023. Applications for FY 2023 residency positions are due by March 31, 2022, and additional details for the submission process can be found here.
