AHA voices support for CMS proposals to streamline Medicaid, CHIP enrollment
Commenting today on a proposed rule to streamline Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program eligibility and enrollment, AHA voiced support for proposals that would facilitate and promote enrollment and eliminate coverage disruptions.
“These policy changes will become even more critical as CMS and state Medicaid programs prepare for the unwinding of the COVID-19 public health emergency,” which will end COVID-19-related continuous eligibility requirements, AHA told the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
