Isabel Wilkerson, the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, best-selling author and National Humanities Medal recipient, will give the opening keynote address at AHA’s 2023 Accelerating Health Equity Conference, which will be held May 16-18 in Minneapolis. Wilkerson, the author of The Warmth of Other Suns, and Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents, is a gifted storyteller who unpacks the implications of enforcing hierarchy in our social systems, industries and economy.
