CMS: Nov. 18 deadline for teaching hospitals to ask to reset certain Medicare resident amounts 

Teaching hospitals have until Nov. 18 to ask Medicare to review their per resident amounts or resident caps for certain cost reports, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced this month. To qualify for review, the hospital must submit a review request with documentation to their Medicare Administrative Contractor.
