AHA comments on proposed parameters for 2024 Health Insurance Marketplaces

Commenting today on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ proposed Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters for 2024, AHA voiced support for proposals to designate certain behavioral health provider types and Rural Emergency Hospitals as essential community providers; ease enrollment and increase consumer access to navigators and assisters; and clarify standardized health plan coverage while giving plans flexibility to test different benefit structures; among other provisions.
