Better Health for Mothers and Babies Webinar Series
AHA’s Better Health for Mothers and Babies Initiative’s approach to improving maternal and infant outcomes is guided by four core principles: examine quality and outcomes data to guide strategy; consider the causes of disparities in health outcomes; involve patients and community in their own care; and engage the workforce. This webinar series will showcase stories of how hospitals and health care organizations are putting each principle into action to improve outcomes for moms and their babies.

Webinar 3: Elevating Patient and Community Voices in Maternal Care

Pregnancy care should be designed to be responsive to the needs and preferences of the patients, families and communities' hospitals serve. To help develop these person-centered care models, hospitals can collaboratively design care with key stakeholders, fostering trusting relationships with those they serve.

In this webinar, learn how hospitals are pursuing patient and community experiences to co-develop innovative solutions, enhance community partnerships and build trusting provider-patient relationships.
