The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will host a webinar Thursday for clinicians on synthetic cannabinoids, an emerging class of recreational drugs associated with a growing number of adverse events. The call will review the clinical effects of the drugs, which are smoked for their anticipated marijuana-like effects, and the role clinicians can play in the public health response. The 60-minute webinar begins at 1 p.m. ET.
