The Food and Drug Administration has created an Oncology Center of Excellence to coordinate and speed regulatory review of cancer drugs, biologics and medical devices as part of the administration’s Cancer Moonshot initiative. Richard Pazdur, M.D., who previously led FDA’s Office of Hematology and Oncology Products, will serve as the center’s acting director.
