CMS updates Open Payments website with 2015 data
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services today updated the Open Payments website with 2015 data on payments by drug and device manufacturers to physicians and teaching hospitals, as well as new data for the 2013 and 2014 reporting periods. The Affordable Care Act requires applicable drug and medical device makers and group purchasing organizations to annually report certain payments to physicians and teaching hospitals, who can then review and dispute the data before it is published.
