HHS awards second contract to develop point-of-care Zika test
The Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response today awarded a second contract to develop a rapid test for Zika at the point of care. The tests would identify antibodies produced in response to the virus. ASPR also is supporting advanced development of two laboratory diagnostic tests for Zika.
