CT hospitals report on community benefits
Connecticut hospitals invested $1.6 billion in community benefit activities in 2015, according to a new report by the Connecticut Hospital Association. The total includes Medicare and Medicaid underpayments, uncompensated care, community services and other programs to advance community health. “Connecticut’s hospitals provide a clear benefit to their communities in addition to the lifesaving care they offer 24/7,” said CHA CEO Jennifer Jackson.
