Coalition to Protect America's Health Care celebrates 1 million online supporters
The Coalition to Protect America’s Health Care today celebrated 1 million online supporters. Formed in 2000, the coalition is a broad-based group of hospitals, businesses and national, state and local hospital associations dedicated to educating the public about threats to hospital financing and their impact on patients and families. In 2013, the coalition launched a digital community of advocates, which significantly increased online engagement through programs such as Hospital Heroes. With 1 million online supporters and counting, the coalition will continue to serve in 2015 as a leading voice to protect patient care and stop additional cuts to hospital care.
