AHA’s flagship magazine took home a top honor April 1 at the 2016 Jesse H. Neal Awards for specialized journalism, presented by the trade association Connectiv. Hospitals & Health Networks news editor Paul Barr won the award for “best single article” for his October 2015 story on population health strategies and the role of technology in population health management. In addition, H&HN senior designer Chuck Lazar was named a finalist in the “best overall art direction/design” category for the magazine’s April 2015 cover, created for a story on emerging health care technology.
