Groups release tool to help diverse health care leaders navigate career

Six organizations, including the Institute for Diversity in Health Management, today released an online resource to help health care leaders from underrepresented groups navigate their career path to senior-level positions. The Executive Diversity Career Navigator offers career development tools and information tailored to the needs and interests of diverse health care executives, including the “voice” of experienced health care leaders captured in multimedia. The tool will be updated regularly with new information and perspectives. In addition to the Institute, collaborators on the resource include the American College of Healthcare Executives, Asian Healthcare Leaders Forum, LGBT Forum, National Association of Health Services Executives, and National Forum for Latino Healthcare Executives. The Institute is an AHA affiliate.
