Medicare announces quality reporting exceptions for Hurricane Irma
Certain hospitals and other facilities in Florida, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands affected by Hurricane Irma will be granted exceptions under certain Medicare quality reporting and value-based purchasing programs without submitting an extraordinary circumstances request, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced yesterday.
