The Institute for Diversity and Health Equity today released its February newsletter highlighting new resources and upcoming events and education opportunities related to diversity, health equity and inclusion. Among other items, the newsletter highlights the Institute’s Summer Enrichment Program, which offers health care internship opportunities for diverse graduate students; 2018 National Leadership and Education Conference June 28-29 in Chicago; a Feb. 26 webinar featuring best practices on culturally and linguistically appropriate care delivery from leaders at AnMed Health in Anderson, SC; and best practices from 2017 AHA Equity of Care honoree Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL.
