National Academy of Sciences Elects Two Hospital-affiliated Members

The National Academy of Sciences has elected 84 new members in recognition of their distinguished and ongoing research achievements, including two Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigators affiliated with hospitals. The hospital-affiliated researchers are Daniel Haber, director of the Cancer Center at Massachusetts General Hospital in Charlestown, and Christopher Walsh, chief of the genetics and genomics division at Boston Children's Hospital.
