CMS releases final Quality Payment Program results for 2018
Ninety-eight percent of eligible clinicians and 97% of rural practices who participated in the 2018 Quality Payment Program through the Merit-based Incentive Payment System track will receive a positive payment adjustment in 2020, up from 93% in 2017, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services reported this week. Another 183,306 clinicians participated in QPP through the advanced alternative payment models track to qualify for a 5% bonus payment in 2020, up from 99,076 in 2017.
