AHA is accepting applications for Equity of Care award
The AHA’s Institute for Diversity and Health Equity is accepting nominations through Feb. 25 for its 2020 Carolyn Boone Lewis Equity of Care Award, which recognizes hospitals and health systems that have achieved a high level of success in advancing diversity, inclusion and equity. The award honors AHA members for their efforts to advance equitable health care through data, leadership, cultural awareness and partnerships. AHA will honor up to five organizations with awards in 2020. See the webpage for more information and the application.
