CDC issues interim guidelines for COVID-19 antibody testing

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Sunday issued interim guidelines for serologic methods used for monitoring and responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. The guidelines, which CDC says it will update regularly, include recommendations for choice of test and testing strategy; individuals who test positive for anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies; and additional considerations on the use of serologic tests.
