FDA approves new tracheal intubation drug
The Food and Drug Administration Monday approved a new injection to assist in tracheal intubation and provide muscle relaxation during surgeries or mechanical ventilation. FDA said side effects include anaphylaxis, hyperkalemia and malignant hyperthermia.
