AHA, hospital leaders discuss health care transformation at day one of Boston symposium
A symposium hosted yesterday by the AHA at the HLTH conference featured a panel of experts discussing health transformation in the post-pandemic world. Michelle Hood, AHA’s executive vice president and chief operating officer, opened the session, which featured leaders discussing how provider-led innovation and partnerships are transforming the health care ecosystem and creating new approaches to managing the health of patient populations. Speakers included leaders from Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health, Mount Sinai Health System, UMass Memorial Health, Cleveland Clinic and Boston Medical Center addressing key issues, such as workforce resiliency, increasing access to care and improving health equity.
