The AHA and its Institute for Diversity and Health Equity have extended until 5 p.m. ET on Nov. 30 the deadline for Carolyn Boone Lewis Equity of Care Award applications. The award recognizes hospitals and health systems that are proactive in advancing diversity, health equity and equitable health care through data, leadership, governance, cultural awareness and community partnerships.
