HHS releases FY 2024 federal medical assistance percentages

The Department of Health and Human Services this week released the Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program federal medical assistance percentages for fiscal year FY 2024. The notice provides state and territorial FMAP and enhanced FMAP percentages for Medicaid, CHIP and disaster-recovery FMAP adjustments. The FMAPs are effective Oct. 1, 2023, through Sept. 30, 2024.
