Penn State Health selects CEO

Hershey, Pa.-based Penn State Health has named Stephen Massini CEO effective this summer upon the retirement of Craig Hillemeier, M.D. Massini currently serves as executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Penn State Health, a role he has held since 2016. He previously served as chief financial officer of Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, the health system's flagship facility.

Carson Tahoe Health appoints CEO

The Board of Directors for Carson Tahoe Health, Carson City, Nev., has named Alan Garrett CEO effective April 1. He succeeds Ed Epperson, who retired Dec. 31. Most recently, Garrett served as president and CEO of St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, Calif., and as regional vice president for St. Joseph Hoag Health in Irvine, Calif. 

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest names CEO

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest has named Scott Davis CEO effective April 8. He currently serves as CEO of San Antonio’s Methodist Texsan Hospital and Methodist Ambulatory Surgical Hospital. 

Scotland Health Care System names COO

Laurinburg, N.C.-based Scotland Health Care System has named David Pope senior vice president of operations and chief operating officer. Most recently, Pope served as interim CEO at St. Luke’s Hospital in Columbus, N.C. 

UnityPoint Health-St. Luke's Hospital names COO

Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based UnityPoint Health-St. Luke's Hospital has named Casey Greene vice president and COO effective April 15. He currently serves as COO of Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
