The open enrollment period for the 2016 Health Insurance Marketplace ends Jan. 31. America’s hospitals are playing a large part in the nationwide efforts to make the enrollment process easy, accessible and widely available. The results are impressive. The number of Americans without health insurance has dropped one-third since 2013. That’s almost 16 million people who now have a ticket to healthier, more productive lives. Let’s end this year’s activities with one final big push for coverage. For a wealth of great tools to help you finish the job, go to the AHA’s “Get Enrolled” website.
