The American Organization of Nurse Executives on April 13 will present its 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award to Linda Quinn Everett, RN, an adjunct professor at Indiana University School of Nursing and consulting faculty at Duke University School of Nursing. Everett has held numerous top executive positions in health care and academic settings, most recently as chief nurse executive at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis. An active researcher, lecturer and speaker, she is widely published on nursing leadership, academic-practice partnerships, evidenced-based practice and financial acumen. She previously has served as AONE president, treasurer of Sigma Theta Tau International and inaugural president of the Indiana Center for Nursing, and has received the National League for Nursing President’s Award and Philippine Nurses Association’s Nursing Excellence and Achievement Award, among other honors.
