The AHA has formed a strategic alliance with digital health consultant AVIA to help the hospital and health system field accelerate its digital transformation. The alliance will allow AHA members to access an exclusive and customized forum in AVIA Connect, a digital innovation platform that provides personalized digital insights and peer-to-peer collaboration to accelerate digital strategies. In the coming months, AHA will release a new offering for its membership through AVIA Connect that assesses organizational maturity on key digital transformation topics. “Health care is transforming, rapidly, and digital represents the health care system’s new front door,” said Maryjane Wurth, AHA executive vice president and chief operating officer. “Digital technology has implications for every aspect of health care, from the clinical to the operational. Collaborating with AVIA will help us deliver leading-edge expertise and assistance to our members as they advance on their digital journeys.”
