The Oklahoma Hospital Association has named as its new president effective Sept. 5 Patti Davis, who most recently served as senior vice president of external affairs at Oklahoma City-based OU Medicine. Davis replaces Craig Jones, who will retire Aug. 31 after 21 years leading OHA. Before joining OU Medicine as senior vice president of strategy and business development in 2013, Davis was executive vice president at OHA, where she coordinated operations and special projects and led advocacy efforts on state and federal issues. “Her experience in both small, rural hospitals and large, urban medical centers, as well as her past experience on the OHA staff will be a tremendous asset as we continue our important work strengthening hospitals across the state,” said David Whitaker, OHA board chairman and chief administrative officer for Mercy-West Community.
