FEMA updates policy on medical care costs eligible for financial assistance
The Federal Emergency Management Agency yesterday updated its policy for determining medical care costs eligible for assistance under its Public Assistance Program, available to government entities and certain private non-profit organizations during the COVID-19 emergency.
During an April 16 AHA call for all hospitals, Tod Wells, deputy director of the FEMA Public Assistance Division Recovery Directorate, noted that the updated policy document would be issued.
