GAO issues data on state sources of non-federal share of Medicaid funds
The Government Accountability Office Friday released data from its survey on sources of funds used by states to finance the nonfederal share of their Medicaid programs, including provider taxes and intergovernmental transfers. The survey was completed by all 50 states and the District of Columbia and looked at data from 2008 through 2012.
