AHA ads highlight financial crisis facing hospitals
The AHA is running ads this week in the Politico Pulse newsletter highlighting the unprecedented ways hospitals and health systems have stepped up to meet the challenges caused by COVID-19 while sustaining $50 billion in losses a month.
“Early support from Congress and the Administration has helped but many hospitals remain on the brink,” one ad notes. “They need additional resources to continue delivering the critical care that patients and communities need while preparing for new challenges presented by the pandemic and resulting economic emergencies.”
