AHA, through the 100 Million Mask Challenge, continues to work with novel manufacturers and suppliers to support hospitals’ and health systems’ PPE needs. By using the the HealthEquip app, hospitals can gain access to a large supply of donated surgical masks and face shields to meet their needs. Suppliers are vetted using processes established by AHRMM and HealthEquip.

Also, using a generous donation from the National Bobblehead Museum, the 100 Million Mask Challenge is able to purchase specific PPE (e.g., 3M N95 masks, any size nitrile gloves, etc.) that hospitals may need. Quantities are limited and matched based on need and availability; providers are responsible for a small processing fee and shipping costs.
