AHA, AMA, ANA release PSA encouraging COVID-19 vaccination

AHA is partnering with the American Medical Association and the American Nurses Association to urge the public to get vaccinated against COVID-19 when their opportunity arises. The effort includes a public service announcement emphasizing the safety and effectiveness of authorized COVID-19 vaccines in the effort to defeat the virus.

“To defeat COVID-19 and get back the moments with friends and family we all miss, we need as many shots in arms as possible. It’s imperative that all Americans consider the health of their loved ones and make the decision to take the COVID-19 vaccine when it is their turn,” said AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack in a joint press release announcing the new PSA. “Along with our physician and nursing colleagues, we have an important role to play, helping those who have questions get the latest information so they can make a decision understanding the full benefits of being vaccinated.”
