AHA receives CDC grants to promote COVID-19 vaccine confidence, prevent infection
The AHA has received $6 million in grants from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to promote clinician and public confidence in COVID-19 vaccines, and help train current and future health care personnel to prevent and control infectious disease. The grants will support AHA’s #MyWhy Campaign and other efforts to encourage COVID-19 vaccination, and its partnership with CDC to train clinicians and other personnel to prevent and control infection through the Project Firstline initiative.
