SAMHSA allocates $3B in ARPA grants for mental health, substance use treatment
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration today allocated to states and territories $3 billion in supplemental block grants for mental health and substance use treatment included in the American Rescue Plan Act.
The grants will support community mental health services for those with severe mental health conditions and activities to prevent, treat and help more people recover from substance use disorder.
