The AHA Aug. 6 announced the promotion of Lisa Kidder Hrobsky to senior vice president of legislative and political affairs. Hrobsky, who has spent 17 years at AHA and also served as the president and CEO of the Idaho Hospital Association, will direct and oversee legislative advocacy initiatives, grassroots efforts and the AHAPAC engagement activities with this new role.
“Lisa’s astute legislative, political and leadership abilities have been even more important than ever over the last 18 months as we advocated on Capitol Hill for our member hospitals and health systems during the pandemic,” said AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack. “This promotion is in recognition of her tireless efforts to help hospitals meet their community’s needs.”
