NIH to host listening sessions on advancing equity in biomedical research

On Dec. 1, the National Institutes of Health UNITE initiative will launch a series of listening sessions with various stakeholders in the biomedical research community to learn about issues and challenges facing diverse talent in the scientific and administrative workforce to help the initiative develop priorities and an action plan. NIH launched the UNITE initiative this year to help establish an equitable and civil culture within the biomedical research enterprise and reduce barriers to racial equity in the biomedical research workforce.
