OSHA assessing COVID-19 readiness at certain hospitals, skilled nursing facilities
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration will conduct focused inspections through June 9 to assess compliance and readiness at certain hospitals and skilled nursing facilities that treat or handle COVID-19 patients, the agency announced yesterday. The initiative will supplement OSHA enforcement under the COVID-19 National Emphasis Program by focusing on previously inspected or investigated facilities, the agency said.
