Matthew Stanley, D.O., vice president, behavioral health clinical service line, Avera Health (South Dakota) is the 2023 chair of AHA’s Committee on Behavioral Health. Jill Howard, R.N., assistant vice president, behavioral health, Lifepoint Health (Tennessee), will serve as the 2023 chair-elect, and Arpan Waghray, M.D., CEO, Well-Being Trust (Washington) will serve as the 2023 past-chair. 
 
Joining the committee as members are Nathaniel Clark, M.D., chief medical officer and behavioral health chief of staff, Vanderbilt University Medical Center (Tennessee); Beth Heinz, service line executive, mental health and addiction services, M Health Fairview (Minnesota); Garrett Hoover, president and chief operating officer, Carroll Hospital and senior vice president, LifeBridge Health (Maryland); Tracey Lavallias, executive director, behavioral health service line, Lancaster General Health (Pennsylvania); Tamara Player, CEO, Polara Health (Arizona);and Jesse Tamplen, vice president, behavioral health services, John Muir Health (California).
