FY 2023 grants to expand community behavioral health clinics available

Nonprofit behavioral health organizations may apply through May 22 for up to $1 million each to establish a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic and existing certified clinics may apply for up to $1 million each to expand or improve their services, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration announced today. The agency expects to award 62 grants for new clinics and 62 grants to existing clinics. CCBHCs must provide 24/7 access to crisis services and routine outpatient care within 10 business days, and serve anyone who requests care for mental health or substance use, regardless of their ability to pay.
