Congress passes CR funding government through Nov. 17
The Senate Saturday passed a continuing resolution funding the government through Nov. 17 and avoiding a government shutdown. The House of Representatives earlier passed the CR by a vote of 335-91. Among other provisions, the CR will delay Medicaid Disproportionate Share Hospital cuts and extend authorizations for community health centers, the National Health Service Corps, and Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education for the duration of the CR.
