Description
Mental health consistently ranks as a top priority in community health needs assessments, yet barriers to access — including stigma and affordability — prevent many people from seeking help. Join this webinar to discuss effective approaches for building and nurturing communitywide coalitions to leverage funding sources, elevate reach and amplify impact.
To increase access to mental health resources and reduce the stigma of seeking help, Columbus Regional Health in Indiana launched "Mental Health Matters," developed a “Standing Up Against Stigma” campaign, and created an ambassador network of local volunteers who share their mental health journeys. Julie Orben, Mental Health Matters program manager at CRH, and Deryk Van Brunt, founder and CEO of CredibleMind, will share how these strategies — combined with using QR codes and tailored resources to address postpartum depression and grief — are transforming community engagement.
This webinar will highlight real-world lessons on reducing stigma, leveraging technology, and building trust to improve mental health access and outcomes.
